Whistler Alpine Meadows Location
Whistler Alpine Meadows lays approximately 4 kms or a five minute drive away from the central Village area. For those travelling without a vehicle, bus service runs regularly throughout the year from early morning to late at night. Transfer fares are inexpensive at roughly $2/adult (as of September, 2009).
If you’re looking to squeeze in a little exercise, why not walk, run, rollerblade or bike along the Valley Trail? This paved, two-lane path runs through all the main areas of Whistler from Emerald Estates (north of Alpine Meadows) to Spring Creek (south of Whistler Creekside).
Activities, Amenities and Services
Alpine Meadows is known as the laid-back, residential neighbourhood in Whistler. It’s a great place to live like the locals and surround yourself in the natural splendour of the mountain.

Other interesting Alpine Meadows sites include:
- Meadow Park- with picnic tables, a playground, tennis/basketball courts and baseball diamonds, this is a great destination for families during the warmer months
- Alpine Meadows Market- pick up groceries and other foodstuff here
- Edgewater Restaurant- fine dining amid spectacular alpine views*closed to the public until May 2010
- Bean Around the World- laid back café with casual dining and snacks
